Cassandra attended elementary school in the Laverne Public Schools system before continuing her education at Mooreland High School, where she graduated in 1977. She was employed by Evergreen Life Services in Enid, where she made her home for many years. Through her compassion, dedication, and commitment to others, Cassandra touched countless lives and made a lasting difference in her community.

Cassandra’s greatest joy was loving her nieces and nephews. The memories she created and the love she shared with them will be cherished forever. She had a deep love for horses, found joy in creating dream catchers, and was passionate about learning and honoring her Cherokee heritage. Her kind heart, creative spirit, and genuine care for others will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray Mayfield, and her stepfather, Virgel Eadger White.

Cassandra is survived by her mother, Romona Rae White of Kingfisher; her brother, Brenton Charles Mayfield and wife, Michelle, of Mutual; her brother, Curtis Hance Mayfield and wife, Kathy, of Guthrie; two nieces, Krysten Danielle Bryer and husband, Anthony, of Taloga, and Brooke Ashley Annuschat and husband, Doug, of Loyal; and one nephew, Justin Lee Relyea and wife, Tiffany, of Guthrie.

She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews: Taden, Parker, and Quinn Bryer; Addysen and Presley Squires; Amethyst, Mylee, Emmalee, Liberty, Richard, and Iris Relyea; and Kylie Mayfield. She leaves behind her lifelong friends, Cindy, Meleissa, and Mary, along with numerous other friends and family members who will miss her dearly.
