Obituary

Dancing Feathers Whitecrow entered this earth November 14th 1992. She was born in Oklahoma City to Tammy Whitecrow and also grew up with influences from her grandmother Lafreda White Buffalo also aunt Phillina Collateta as well as Tamyra and Steven Dickens and lots of family and friends who loved her dearly.

Feathers was a very sociable, courageous, confident woman. Most of all she was a protector to any one she cared about. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She attended Horace Mann elementary and after continued her education at Roosevelt middle school in Oklahoma City, she then proceeded with her GED in her adult years. Throughout her younger years she became a member of the Boys and Girls Club at Memorial Park and here is where she made many of friends and participated in cheerleading. Feathers was fun and always had a contagious laugh, she could make any situation a funny time and had a smile that could light up a room. She loved listening to music, making friends also braiding hair. She was great at that. She took great pride in her Native American heritage and is a member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribe.

Feathers had 7 amazing children who she loved very much and always shared that with anyone she met. There are no words that could share how much she was loved or how much she will be missed. Feathers left this realm on July 7th 2026. Though her time was cut short she made a huge impact and left memories that will live on forever. We know her spirit will carry on forever in those she met.
