Obituary

Everett Joe Snyder, born May 14, 1943, in Delta, Colorado, passed away following a brief illness on Feb. 16, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose steady presence and strong faith touched many lives.
Everett was born to Joseph Snyder and Stella (Martin) Snyder. He was raised in Porterville, California, where he attended Springfield Elementary School before graduating from Porterville High School in 1961.
On November 3, 1961, he married the love of his life, Diane Faith Childers, in Porterville, California. Together they built a life centered on family and hard work, sharing many cherished years until Diane's passing. Everett and Diane made their home in several communities over the years, including Santa Ana, California; Medford, Oregon; Lindsay, California; Seiling, Oklahoma; Sweetwater, Tennessee; and Woodward, Oklahoma.
Everett worked as a heavy equipment operator in the oil fields and also as a truck driver. He was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to provide for his family in whatever way was needed. Outside of work, he loved fishing and camping, finding peace and joy in the outdoors.
A man of deep faith, Everett was baptized at age 32 and was a member of the Church of God. He attended Sure Foundation Church of God in Woodward, Oklahoma. He faithfully served his church community by singing in the choir, serving as a board member, and working as a Sunday School Superintendent.
Everett was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane Faith Snyder; his parents, Joseph and Stella Snyder; his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Myrtle Martin; and his paternal grandparents of the Snyder family.
He is lovingly remembered by his three sons: Ronald Lee Snyder and wife Angela; Randy Joe Snyder and wife Lesley; and Jeffery Wayne Snyder and wife Denise. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, great-grandfather to thirteen great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandfather to one. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Everett was an only child and had no surviving brothers or sisters.
Everett will be remembered for his unwavering faith, dedication to his family, and love of the outdoors. His legacy lives on in the generations who carry his name and the many lives he touched with his kindness and steady spirit.
