Oscar Robert Harris

(October 3,1941 – January16, 2025)

Oscar Robert Harris began his earthly walk on October 3, 1941, when his parents Albert Harris and Bethel St. Elmo welcomed him into their family in Salam Oregon.  Oscar departed this life on January 16, 2025, at the age of 82, in Clinton Oklahoma.

After Oscar Graduated from High School, he began his service in the United States Navy. Oscar served during the Vietnam War and obtained the rank of E-6 before he was honorably discharged.  He continued to serve our country as a private contractor in the capacity of Quality Control Inspector for over 30 years.

After living in many different areas of the country and other locations around the world, Oscar and his soulmate, Cheryl Omlin Rhea, settled in Dewey County, Oklahoma.  They made their home in Seiling.

Oscar was a believer in Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a member and attended the Richmond Church.

Oscar was an adventurous individual with an outgoing spirit and a love for life.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Kathryn Juanita Johnson.

He leaves behind his soulmate Cheryl Rhea and nieces Linda Johnson and Debra Johnson.  There are other relatives, friends, and past acquaintances who will cherish the memories of Oscar in their lives.  May his soul rest in peace.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date at the Richmond Country Church.
