Bobby Ray "Bob" Campbell, of Seiling, passed from this life on June 6, 2016 in Seiling at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and nine days. Bob was born to Edwin and Maude Campbell in rural Dewey County on April 28, 1932. He attended Seiling High School. In January of 1951, Bob joined the Airforce, serving with the 363rd Installations Squadron as a firefighter, and earning the National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in October of 1954. Bob farmed and ranched for most of his life until his retirement in 2008.
Bob was preceded in death by his son Cole Lee; great grandson Brenden; his parents Edwin and Maude Campbell; a sister, Ramona; and a brother, Bill Campbell.
Bob is survived by his wife, Dolores (Brown) Campbell; Son Tony Ray Campbell of Seiling; three grandchildren, Tori Nardacchione and husband Donovan of Piedmont, Zachary Campbell and wife Alysa Jean of Guthrie, and Kasey Campbell and wife Lisa of Claremore; seven great grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on June 10, 2016 at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Orville White and Pastor Dennis Adair officiating. Burial will follow in Brumfield Cemetery.
