Obituary

Britten Tyler Shuck, college student and baseball player at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, died tragically in a single vehicle accident on March 26, 2015 near Chester, OK. Britten was 19 years, 5 months, and 12 days old. Brit was born in Woodward, OK on October 14, 1995 to Neal and Claire (Bingham) Shuck.
Brit was raised in the Seiling community. He attended Seiling Public Schools where he played baseball, basketball, and football. Brit was also on the Alva Renegades baseball team, a member of FCA, FFA, Oklahoma Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Student Council. Brit graduated with the class of 2014. After graduation, Brit was able to continue his love of the game by playing baseball at NWOSU. The baseball team and coaches had become a second family for Brit. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and games of all types. He also spent many hours practicing Tae Kwon Do.
Brit received many honors and awards during his lifetime: All District in Football, named Great Plains Conference All Star, made the Laverne and Elk City All-Tournament Teams in Basketball, was Basketball Homecoming King, and named Seiling High School Wildcat Boy of the Year.
Brit's short time on this earth before meeting his Lord was spent with his loving family: father, Neal Shuck, mother, Claire Shuck, both of the home in Seiling, OK; sister, Adalee Shuck of Edmond, OK; maternal grandmother, Amelia Bingham of Geary, OK; uncles Scott and wife Jane Bingham of Bloomington, IN, Fred Bingham, Patrick Bingham, both of Geary, OK and Kurt Bingham of Lawton, OK; maternal aunts Barbara Bingham of Yukon, OK, Jan and husband Boone VonTungeln, of El Reno, OK, Jennifer Bingham of Oklahoma City, OK, Kristy Bingham of Dallas, TX, Linda Bingham of Geary, OK, and Kimberly Gore and husband Rick of Hydro, OK. His paternal grandparents are Derald and Elaine Shuck of Chester, OK; aunt, Lynette Nelson of Stillwater, OK, aunt, Renae Griffith and husband Mike of Grove, OK; many close cousins, teammates, and a host of friends.
Brit was preceded in death by his maternal granddad, Glynn Bingham, and uncles, Jon Bingham and Ken Nelson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Elm Grove Community Church Northwest of Chester, OK with Pastor Orville White and Pastor Michael Brien presiding. Burial will follow at Brumfield Cemetery in Seiling, OK. Neal, Claire, and Adalee have entrusted Brit's care, services, and burial to Bart Watkins and the staff of Redinger Funeral Home.

Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
