IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bruce Mack
Hedrick
November 3, 1950 – August 3, 2023
BRUCE MACK HEDRICK, 72, died unexpectedly August 3, 2023, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. He was born November 3, 1951, in Fairview, OK, the son of Bill and Ersel Hedrick.
Bruce went to Chester School for grades 1-8 and to Seiling High School for grades 9-12. Following graduation, he attempted college at OSU, but soon decided that was not for him. He found work near his home town of Chester, met and married Denise McNeill in 1971. To them Cory Mack Hedrick was born in 1972.
Later he was hired by Phillips Petroleum in the Seiling area and soon transferred to south Texas and continued working there for many years. He worked hard, living at different towns in west Texas until he decided to take early retirement. He moved to Oklahoma City and continued working in the oil and gas industry until his retirement just a few years ago. In late fall of 2021 he purchase a Park Model Home in Apache Junction, AZ. Since moving, he has renovated the entire home inside and out, and just finished up on the outside a few months ago.
Bruce had many interests in life…. most of all, he loved his family. He loved being with family and friends. He had a huge heart, loved to give, spent years making sure his son was well taken care of, as Cory was in the care of professional people who had the means and ability to provide him with utmost love and care he needed. He loved the outdoors……fishing, chasing that dream of finding gold, golfing and by the way, he was GOOD! He was a gambler……he loved to gamble! He loved traveling to Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and California. There is so much more that should be said, but in the end, what he did was make our world brighter. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure! You never found that pot of gold, Bruce, but you've left us with much more! We love and miss you, Bruce!
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Cory Mack Hedrick, sister-in-law, Cheryl Hedrick, brother-in-law, Steven Niles Burchett and nephew, Spencer Niles Burchett.
