Carolyn Norene (Pannell) Anson, 77 year old resident of Waukomis, OK, passed from this life on October 1, 2018. She was born on July 11, 1941 to Emmitt and Josie Pannell in Chester, OK. Carolyn lived in Chester with her family while she attended grade school at Lakeside, and then high school in Seiling. On April 17, 1960, Carolyn was married to the love of her life, Thomas Anson in Chester. To this union was blessed three children, Mickey, Vickie, and Trina. In the years following her marriage, Carolyn lived in Enid from 1960-1961, Chandler, AZ from 1961-1963, and then finally Enid from 1963-2018. During this time, she remained a dutiful homemaker tending to the needs of family and loved ones. Carolyn enjoyed horses, Elvis, and fishing; but most importantly, she loved her family.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Josie Pannell; and her brother Otis Dale Pannell.

Remembering Carolyn are her husband, Thomas Anson of the home; son Mickey Anson of Enid, OK; daughter Vickie Rauh and husband James of Mooreland, OK; daughter Trina Wilson and husband Leslie of Iuka, KS; brothers, Eugene Pannell and Donald Pannell; 5 grandchildren, 2 aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of loved ones and friends.

Funeral Services for Carolyn will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel in Seiling (105 Gary England Ave.) Burial will follow at Brumfield Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association with Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663) serving as custodian of the funds.
