Cary Lee Gore, Sr., of Seiling, passed from this life on December 2, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 18 days.  He was born to Cary Maurice Gore and Lorene May (Cooper) Gore on May 14, 1946 in Clinton, OK.  Cary attended high school in Slidell, Louisiana.  After graduation, he returned to Oklahoma to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1968.  He taught for one year in the Seiling Public Schools before his "summer job" as an encyclopedia salesman turned full time.  After this, he remained in sales for the rest of his career, mostly as a siding contractor and salesman in Phoenix, AZ from about 1986 to 2009.  Cary favorite "job" however was taking care of his grandchildren.  He attended the OneLife Church in Seiling.

Cary is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Lillian Cooper; parents, Cary Maurice Gore and Lorene Gore-Green; and brother Maurice Gore.

He is survived by his four children, Cary Lee Gore, Jr. and wife Mellanie of Justin, TX, L'Donna Kay Berryhill and husband Ronald of Danbury, TX, Samantha Lori Ann Gore-Love and husband Chris Rogers of Rush Springs, OK, and Kyle David Gore and wife Holly of Seiling, OK; 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

He loved his grandchildren with all his heart, and they were his whole world.

Funeral Services for Cary will be held at 10:00 AM on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2017 at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel with Lance Fuqua presiding.
