Obituary

Chad Henry Masten, 46, was born August 15, 1970 and passed away on January 18, 2017.
Chad attended El Dorado Springs High School in El Dorado Springs, MO and graduated with the Class of 1988. Chad was an avid sports fan. He loved to play and watch all kinds of sports.
Chad served in the United States Army where he was a medic. He was stationed in Germany and served during Desert Storm. While he was in the Army, he developed his love for travel. He was always reading travel books and studying places he wanted to visit. Chad was a certified scuba diver, and loved to travel to places where he could dive or be near the water. He was able to travel extensively during his lifetime. He visited many places around the world including Germany, Italy, France, Central America and many places within the United States. He had a special fondness for the Philippines. Everywhere he traveled he made lifelong friends.
Chad is survived by his loving family: his mother, Twila Masten-Bell of Seiling, OK; two sisters, Marlis Calkins and husband Steve of Taloga, OK, and Alexa Bell-Young and husband Adam of Stover, MO; two nieces, Shelby Calkins and Diamond Donnell; and three nephews, Chase Calkins, Tanner Bell, and Lane Donnell; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Private Services were held at Redinger Funeral Home with Pastor Orville White presiding. Services were under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home.
