Charles Ray Mayfield, "Chuck" of Seiling passed from this life on January 22, 2015 in Seiling. Chuck was born on January 11, 1932 in Seiling to Robert Hance and Lela Rae (Cook) Mayfield.
Chuck attended Seiling public schools, graduating with the class of 1950. Chuck continued his education at Oklahoma A&M. On March 2, 1958 Chuck married Romona Rae Parker, and this union was blessed with three children: Cassandra, Brenton, and Curtis. On August 29, 1986 Chuck married Roma Jean Plummer. Chuck worked as a measurement superintendent for ANR pipline. After retireing from the pipeline he took up a second career as a realtor, which he continued until 2012.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lela Mayfield, brother Bobby Dan Mayfield, and sister in law, Barbara Mayfield.
He is survived by his wife of the home in Seiling, Roma Mayfield; three children, Cassandra Mayfield of Enid, Brenton and wife Michelle of Mutual, and Curtis Mayfield and wife Kathleen of Guthrie; two step children Yvetta Monroe and husband Leland of Cheyenne Wells, CO, and Rick Jones of Pritchett, CO; sister Carolyn Ferguson of Niceville, FL; eight grandchildren, Brooke Squires and husband Turner of Mutual, Krysten Bryer and husband Anthony of Woodward, Kylie Mayfield of Guthrie; Linda Thompson and husband Tony of Magonila, TX, Justin Reyla and wife Tiffany of Guthrie, Kathaleen Morrison of Stillwater, Tycie Lichty and husband Jason of Kirk, CO; 18 great grandchildren, Addysen Squires, Presley Squires, Parker Bryer, Taden Hart, Christina Thompson, Janice Kay Thompson, Jaret Lichty, Tyson Lichty, Annie Reylea, Mylie Reylea, Emma Reylea, Liberty Reylea, Richie Reylea, Stephanie Pour, Alexander Pour, Tony Morrison, and Rose Morrison as well as two nieces, a nephew, other extended family and a lifetime of friends.

Graveside services for Chuck Mayfield will be held at Brumley Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 with Pastor Geoff Park presiding. Roma and the family have entrusted Chuck's care, services, and burial to Bart Watkins and Luke Faires of Redinger Funeral Home.
