IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Craig
Christensen
November 16, 1951 – September 2, 2022
Frank "Craig" Christensen, son of Robert and Mary Beth Christensen, was born on November 16 th , 1951, in Woodward, Oklahoma. He suddenly departed from this life early on Friday September 2 nd , 2022, out on the farm. He was 70 years old.
Craig went to Mutual grade school and junior high. He attended and graduated from Sharon Mutual Highschool with the class of 1970. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Linda Jean Clayton, February 9 th , 1973, at the Elm Grove Church. In their early years of marriage, he started his career with John Deere Equipment in Seiling, then moved to Ponca City working in the oil and gas industry, transferred to Port Arthur, Texas to continue his work, and then moving back to Seiling where he retired with DCP Midstream in 2018.
Craig was an avid member of the Elm Grove Church where he served on the Deacon board, was a Sunday school teacher, and a faithful helper and encourager to all activities involved with the church and its people. Craig felt a great bond and passion to help and serve with the youth at the ROC in Seiling. He never let any of his youth leave without telling them "love ya kiddo". He loved working with everyone he was around, never letting anyone walk away without a bear hug and a "you are highly blessed and favored of the Lord." Taking trips to Branson, going to the Men's Conferences, helping with the rib dinners, and having a competitive spirit playing dominos at senior game night, were all some of his favorite things.
He was a dedicated follower of all his grandchildren in any and all events that they were involved in. Always being seen in a t-shirt and matching ballcap to go with it, whether it be Oklahoma Christian, Tulsa, OCS, Carl Albert, or those Seiling Wildcats.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Christensen. He had one daughter Brandi Levings and husband, Kenton of Oklahoma City. One son, Adam Christensen and wife, Trisha of Midwest City. He had five grandchildren: Kendra, Katelyn, and Karsten Levings of Oklahoma City, Craighton and Canon Christensen of Midwest City. He is also survived by two brothers, Bobby Christensen and wife Jayne of Midwest City and Mark Christensen of Arizona. Along with nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert, and Mary Beth Christensen along with twin brothers and a younger sister.
Memorial Donations in Craig's honor may be made to the Power House Kids or the R.O.C. in care of Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663)
