David Earl Ramsey was born on October 18, 1957 to Bill and Thelma (Mansfield) Ramsey.  David departed this life on November 13, 2020 after his courageous battle with cancer.  David was raised in Big Springs, TX and graduated in 1976.

On September 5, 2002 David was married to Carol King in Chester, OK.

He is survived by his wife Carol Ramsey of Seiling; two daughters Cora King and Mandy Elliott of Seiling; granddaughter Nikole King and husband Tom of Sand Springs, OK; great granddaughter Emma Gray; three grandsons Korben and Michael Elliott and Chase Elliott, all of Seiling; special friend and son-in-law Jesse Elliott of Seiling; two sisters Patricia Wells of Big Springs, TX, and Deanna Ramsey of Nevada; two nieces, April Lopez of California, and Lisa Ramsey of Nevada, as well other relatives, and a lifetime of friends.

David was preceded in death by his father Bill Ramsey and two brothers, Terry and Dewayne Ramsey.

David worked most of his life in the oilfield for Mercer Seismic and Jodi Raugh Trucking, and was currently working for Great Plains Oilfield Rental of El Reno, OK.  David was forever grateful for the pleasure and opportunity to work with Great Plains, and considered them a second family.

David was a devoted husband, father, and most of all Papa.  David's greatest joy was watching his two grandsons play football and spending time with his grandkids and son-in-law Jesse.  David was much loved, greatly remembered and will never be forgotten.

A memorial visitation will take place from 9 AM – 5 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel.  Family will be present to greet the friends and coworkers from 1 PM – 4 PM.

Memorial Donations in David's honor may be made to the Brumfield Cemetery Association in care of Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663).
