Diana Newton was born on November 20, 1950, in Mooreland, Oklahoma to parents Wallace Tibbetts and Thelma Reeves. She passed from this life on September 6, 2022, at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 17 days. Diana spent her childhood days in Seiling, Oklahoma where she attended both grade school and high school. Diana was blessed with three children, Brett, Laurie, and Tonya.

On October 19, 2006, Diana was united in marriage to Harley Newton in Las Vegas. They made their home in Longdale, OK where they have resided since. With the marriage, Diana gained a son, Cary Newton. Diana was baptized into the Christian faith at an early age. She was a member of the Baptist Church and attended the Baptist Church as well and the Life Church.

Diana owned and managed Cookie's Club in Longdale and later worked in the home health field. Diana loved to garden. She loved her beautiful flowers and very much enjoyed sitting out on her porch and watching the hummingbirds. Diana also enjoyed going to Casinos with her husband, and she loved spending time with her grandkids who were the light of her life. She was also an avid donator to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents Wallace Tibbetts and Thelma Reeves, her son Brett Haworth, sister Kay French and husband Wendell, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Harley Newton of Longdale, OK; daughters Laurie Lehr of Waynoka, OK, and Tonya Berry and husband Dillon of Seiling, OK, and step-son Cary Newton of Oakwood, OK. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
