Dick Joy Rohla was born to parents Edward and Stella (Barnes) Rohla on September 1, 1947, in Chester, Oklahoma.  He departed this life on January 27, 2022 at the age of 74 years, 4 months, and 26 days.

He attended school in Seiling, graduating from Seiling High School with the Class of 1965.  He was married to Mary Elizabeth Bradford on July 11, 1966 at the Waynoka Assembly of God Church and to this union three children were born, Joy, Charles, and Travis.  The couple also hosted several foreign exchange students.

Dick very much enjoyed the life of a rancher and farmer. He loved the art of buying and selling cattle that resulted in a profit for Blackjack Farms.

Dick was a member of the Seiling Roundup Club where he served as president in 1999 and 2000.

Dick is preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 2014; his parents Edward and Stella Rohla, brothers Melton and Melvin Rohla, one sister, Velma Stambaugh, and a nephew, Tim Rohla.

He is survived by his children Joy Trammell and husband Ron of Chester, OK, Charles Rohla and wife Andrea of Roff, OK, and Travis Rohla and wife Anika of Chester, OK.  Dick also leaves a brother, George Rohla of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Rusty and wife Kasey Trammell of Seiling, OK, Kari and husband Cutter Wieand of Seiling, OK, Eddie, Ethan, and Eivin Rohla of Chester, OK, and Clayton Rohla of Roff, OK; four great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel.
