Donald Wayne Hurt, II, was born on October 5, 1967, to parents Donald W. Hurt, Sr., and Betty Lou (Bunton) Hurt, in Johnson City, Tennessee.  He passed from this life on May 28, 2022, at the age of 54 years, 7 months, and 23 days.

Donald grew up in the Seiling area attending the Seiling Schools during his grade school and high school years, graduating with the class of 1986.

Donald's life was blessed with two children, son Corey Wayne and daughter Alana Mae.

Donald was an outdoorsman, he loved hunting, guns, and collecting knives.  He was also a big fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents Adolph and Louise Hurt, and Charles and Mae Bunton. Also preceding him in death is aunt Patsy Hurt, three uncles; Robert Hurt, Larry Bunton, and Gene Woodfin, and Cousin Audrey Dunn.

He is survived by his children Cory Wayne Hurt of Seiling, OK, and Alana Mae Hurt Laskowitz of Edmond, OK, his parents Donald and Betty Hurt of Seiling, sisters Margaret Hurt of Seiling, Ok and Sharon Howland and husband Brian of Woodward, OK, and brother Ed Hurt and wife Amber of Piedmont, Ok, and brother-in-law Eddie Evans.  Others that will cherish Donald's memories are his granddaughters; Daphne Laskowitz and Jensen Grace Theising, nieces and nephews Devon Evans Ashton and husband Tyler, Mia Evans Watts and husband Derrik, Cooper, and Charlie Jane Evans, Bailey Hurt, Preslee Mae Hurt, Paison, Naomi, Merritt, and August Ashton, Anita Donovan and husband Donnie, Uncle Norman Hurt of Seiling, also 3 aunts and 1 other uncle, other relatives and many friends.
