DONNA FAY YAGER, of Chester, passed from this life on February 05, 2017. She was born on December 8, 1942 in Liberty, MO to William and Doris (Bryant) Huffman. She grew up in Missouri, graduating from the Covenant of the Sacred Heart High School in St. Joseph, MO.
She worked for skilled nursing facilities as a C.N.A. in Independence, Lincoln, and Cole Camp, MO where she was a member of the Missouri League of Nursing Home Administrators.
In July of 2002, she met the love of her life, Curtis Lung, and moved to Chester, OK shortly after to be with him. In her spare time she enjoyed word search puzzles, beautiful views of the west, John Wayne movies, singing, dancing, and picking on/playing with Curtis. She also loved watching the cows and calves and Curtis said she had names for all of them. According to Curtis, Donna also had a snake that was in the house, and would watch TV with her, until she finally got rid of it.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant daughter.
She is survived by her husband Curtis of Chester; daughter Georgia Greenfield of Independence, MO, 4 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at the Calvary Cemetery in Prattsburg, MO
