Gary Dywane Horne was born on June 27, 1966, to parents Doug and Shirley (Hart) Wheeler in Oklahoma City, OK.  He left his earthly home on November 6, 2021, at the age of 55 years, 4 months, and 10 days.

Gary and his family lived in Enid, OK then moved to Taloga, OK where Gary attended school through the 3 ^rd grade.  The family then moved to Seiling, OK and Gary continued his education through the 9 ^th grade.  In 1976, Gary came to know the Lord and was a member of the Seiling Baptist Church. In 1983 the family moved back to Taloga and Gary graduated with the class of 1986.

Gary was united in marriage to Ramona Ann Walker on September 27, 1993.  To this union two children were born, Brandon and Katherine.  Gary first made his home in Taloga then moved to Seiling and finally to Woodward, Oklahoma.

Gary was an over the road truck driver and then worked on road construction crews as a heavy equipment operator.

Gary greatest joy was spending time with his family.  Many memories were made and will be cherished by family members.

Gary was preceded in death by his father and mother, Doug and Shirley Wheeler, and sister Teresa Lewis.  He is survived by his children; Brandon Horne of Burns Flat, OK, and Katherine Horne of Burns Flat, OK.  He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Chris Horne of Taloga, OK, and sister Sarah Peters of Seiling, OK. along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am.
