March 9, 1953 – March 11, 2025
Georgene Linda (White Eagle) Herrman, known lovingly as George, began her earthly walk on March 9, 1953, when she was welcomed by her parents Clifford James "Jim" Haag and Margaret White Eagle in Longdale, Oklahoma. She left this world on March 11, 2025, at the age of 72 years.
After the death of her mother, Georgene was raised by her grandmother Ella. She attended the Seiling Junior High and High Schools and graduated with the class of 1971.
Georgene was a member and attended the Indian Mennonite Church in Longdale, OK in her younger years.
Georgene was united in marriage to Charles "Mike" Maloney, and the couple traveled all over the United States.
Georgene was blessed with three daughters: Dora, Richenda, and Michelle. After the sudden death of her daughter Richenda, she also raised her granddaughter, Tanesha Marie, from the age of 3.
Georgene resided in Carnegie, Oklahoma after the death of Mike, until 1991, when she settled in Pocatello, Idaho. She was united in marriage to Alfred A "JR" Herrman, Jr.
Georgene was a homemaker while she cared for her children and later was employed by Ballard Medical; she also worked as a driver for Country Coach Shuttle, and she worked at the Sho-Ban Hotel until her death.
Georgene's greatest joy in life was her family; she dearly loved each and every one of them and thoroughly enjoyed and cherished the time she spent with them.
Georgene was preceded in death by her daughter Richenda Marie White Eagle Norfleet, grandmother Ella White Eagle, grandfather Bill "Willie" White Eagle, father Clifford James "Jim" Haag, mother Margaret White Eagle, sister Sharon Lee Lane, brothers Clifford Ray Haag , Charles Wayne Haag, and Darrel "Alfred" Green and brother-in-law Willis Thomason. She is also preceded in death by husbands Charles Michael "Mike" Maloney and Alfred A. "JR" Herrman, Jr.
Those left to cherish the memory of Georgene are her daughters Dora Smith of Pocatello, ID and Michelle Maloney Jackson and husband JJ. She also leaves behind her much-loved grandchildren, Tanesha Marie White Eagle of Pocatello, ID, Ava Kealoha Smith, Rayce Bridger Smith, and Tyler Mitchell. Others who will cherish her memory in their hearts are sisters: Pauline Roman Nose and husband Larry of Watonga, OK, Charlene Thomason of Oklahoma City, Ok, Patricia McClenny and husband Rusty of Watonga, OK, Jana Boeckman of Hitchcock, OK, Clarissa Scoggins and husband Duane of Oklahoma City. Her brothers who will miss her loving smile are Ronald Haag and wife Dorothy of Newcastle, Ok and Thomas Haag and wife Michelle of Oklahoma City, OK. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will forever cherish the memory of Georgene.
Although Georgene is not among us now, her loving spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
Funeral Services will be held on March 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the Redinger Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Canton Reinterment Cemetery in Canton, Oklahoma.
