IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gertrude "Trudy"
May Condreay
August 30, 1942 – January 23, 2023
Gertrude (Trudy) May Condreay (nee Thomason) left this world to be with our Lord on January 23, 2023. Trudy was born August 30, 1942, to Melvin Thomason and Edna Shebeck in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She graduated from C.E. Donart High School, now Stillwater High School, in 1961. She married Phillip Blaine Condreay of Seiling, Oklahoma on September 1, 1966. They lived in Del City and Yukon, Oklahoma where they raised their three sons. While her boys were young, she excelled at coaching their league soccer teams, and was the only female coach in the boy's league. She led them to many victories. Trudy was a gifted amateur photographer and enjoyed nothing more than taking pictures of her family and special occasions. She had a true love and talent for horticultural, especially in the planting of fruit trees and flowers that will continue to be a living gift to her family. However, her greatest love was being a mother to her sons, and a grandmother to her seven grandchildren. She had recently become a great grandmother with the birth of the first of the third generation of babies to her family. The love, dedication, and generosity she showed her family will always be remembered by those who love her.
Trudy was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Thomason, her husband Phillip B. Condreay, her mother, Edna Shebeck and her granddaughter, Maegan Lynn Delk. She is survived by her sons, Phillip A. Condreay and his wife, Norma Condreay, of Oklahoma City, OK; Blaine T. Condreay and his wife, Helene Hackett-Condreay, of Mustang, OK; Conrad A. Condreay and his wife, Christine, of Oklahoma City, OK as well as her grandchildren, Phillip H. Condreay, his wife, Devyn, of Virginia; Aaron Condreay, his wife Jenna, of Del City, OK; Joshua Condreay of Oklahoma City, OK; Colten Delk of Durant, OK; Inara Condreay of Oklahoma City, OK and Issac Condreay of Oklahoma City, OK and her great grandson, Hank Condreay of Del City, OK. She is also survived by her three siblings, Arly Thomason of Oregon, Earl Thomason of Oregon, and Clara Luella Sneary of Colorado and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The viewing will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Redinger Funeral Home located at 105 E. Gary England Ave. in Seiling, Oklahoma at 2 PM followed by a 3:00 graveside service at the Chester Cemetery, and a memorial luncheon at the Chester Community Center in Chester, OK.
