Harlan Eugene Kizer, 63, was one of twin boys born May 25, 1960 in San Diego, CA. to Harlan and Ruby Kizer and died December 25, 2023 in Seiling, OK.

He was raised in Ponca City and Mooreland, OK, where he played football and raised show pigs. Harlan graduated with the Mooreland class of 79. He was married to Peggy Sue Castor for 13 years before her passing. Harlan married Laresa Fuqua McCoy in 1997 in Woodward, OK.

Harlan worked 10 years at WS Key in Fort Supply for the State of Oklahoma Department of Corrections, but most of his adult life was spent in the oilfield or driving a truck. He enjoyed dancing with Miss Pearl, playing golf with friends, camping with his family and anything Gene Watson. He was a member of Mooreland First Baptist Church, where he was baptized and served in any capacity that he was able. He followed his children to many activities from girl scouts and boy scouts to 4H shooting competitions. Seiling One Life Church became his home church in 2020 where he enjoyed setting up coffee and donuts before Sunday services.

He was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Howard Earl, his grandparents, Willard and Opal Kizer and John and Effie Olenick, his first wife, Peggy Castor Kizer, uncle Larry Speakman and father in law, Lyle Fuqua.

He is survived by his wife, Laresa, sons Cody and Kyle Kizer and daughter and son in law Kenzy and Daylen Rivers. His parents, Harlan and Ruby Kizer, sister and brother in law Anita and Joe Yost and brother and sister in law Charles and Angie Kizer. Uncle Bob and aunt Laree Kizer, aunt Nila Speakman, mother in law Lois Fuqua, brother and sisters in law Lance and Jessica Fuqua and Ladawna Hunter, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will see friends on Friday from 5 to 7 at Redinger Funeral Home in Seiling, OK. Services will be at One Life Church (the ROC) on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in Seiling, OK.

Memorial Donations in Harlan's honor may be made to the One Life Church Building Fund in care of Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663).
