Jeannie Marie Rinker, 77 years young, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026 at 7:52 am at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born on December 29, 1948, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Georgia Colleen Sills.
Jeannie was a woman of many talents and hobbies. After earning her GED from Woodward Public Schools and a Clerical Certification from Burns Flat Tech, she dedicated herself to serving others. Jeannie worked as a Secretary for NW Abstract Co and worked as a Personal Help Aide to OARC in Woodward, OK. Jeannie was passionate about volunteering, evident in her dedicated work at the Families Helping Families Program.
Her hobbies were as varied as they were numerous. Jeannie was an avid rock collector, a craft enthusiast, and known for creating beautiful Memorial Day tributes, making sure every person was not forgotten. Above all, she loved talking about Jesus with anyone who would listen. This passion was a testament to her faith and love for others, qualities that defined her life.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rinker; her parents, Ernest and Georgia Sills; her brother, Carl "Ray" Sills; her sisters, Linda Rhodes and Katrina Sills and her niece Kristina "Kris" (Sills) McVicker.
She is survived by her son, Mark Sills of Odessa, TX; her stepson and daughter-in-law, Mike and Suzanne Rinker of Broken Arrow, OK; her brother and sister-in-law, Irvin and Minoma Sills of Seiling, OK; her sister, Vonda Sills of Abilene, TX; her daughter-in-law, Sheli Taylor (Sills) of Odessa, Tx; her grandson Samuel "Stuart" Sills of Woodward, OK; her granddaughter Courtney "Nicole" Sills of Woodward, OK; her granddaughter Shealynn "Shea" Sills of Odessa, TX; her granddaughter and grandson in law, Bethanie "Anie" and Andrew Carpenter of Claremore, OK; her granddaughter, Rebekah Rinker of Broken Arrow, OK; her granddaughter Lily Rinker of Broken Arrow, OK; her 8 great grandchildren, including Emma and Sam Carpenter; her niece, Charity Rhodes of Guthrie, OK; her nephew, Ross Wilson of Abilene, TX; her niece and nephew in law, Kasie and Keishawn Leslie of Orange Park, Florida; her goddaughter and husband, Josie and Dan McDonough of Zephyrhills, Florida; her goddaughter, Mandy Lankford of Cushing, OK; her Aunt Beverly; along with numerous cousins and friends.
Jeannie's life will be celebrated with a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery on Saturday March 14th at 1 pm. Elmwood Cemetery is located at 2755 Downs Ave in Woodward, OK

Jeannie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her generous heart, and her unwavering faith. She was a beacon of love and strength in the lives of her family and friends. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the power of faith in Jesus Christ, the joy of service to others, and the importance of showing God's love.
Jeannie would like to also remind you that Jesus Cares for You! And would like to leave you with one of her favorite scriptures.
