Joseph Henry Price, 72, of Chester, passed from this life on Thursday, February 19, 2015, surrounded by his family in Enid, OK. Joe was born on February 18, 1943, in Pawnee, OK, to Oma and Musa Price. He was raised in Pawnee, graduating from Pawnee High School with the Class of 1961. Joe was married to Connie Helterbrake in Chester, OK, on April 4, 2005. He worked for Gore Nitrogen as a truck driver and loved his job. Joe will be remembered by his family as outgoing, hardworking, and loyal (he was often described as a company man). Joe was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, taking his grandkids to the lake, and sharing wild stories (most of which turned out to be true!)
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Bruns.
Joe is survived by his wife Connie of the home; five children: J.C. Price of Tulsa, Tim Ray and wife Kayle of Cypress, TX, Chris Johnson and husband Floyd Ake of Chester, Thomas Ray of Chester, and Ben Fisher and wife Amanda of Chester; a brother, Bill Price of Perry; eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren with one more on the way; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Chester Cemetery on Tuesday, February 24, 201,5 with Pastor Orville White and Reverend Dwight Link presiding. Friends unable to attend the service may come by to sign the book on Monday from 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. The family of Joe Henry Price have entrusted his care, cremation, services and burial to Luke Faires and the staff of Redinger Funeral Home.
