Obituary
Larry Wayne Bennett, 68-year-old Watonga, OK resident, passed from this life January 25, 2017 at his home. Larry was born July 19, 1948 to Wayne and Leona (Mosher) Bennett in Watonga. He attended Watonga Schools graduating with the class of '67. After high school he attended the Vo-Tech in Okmulgee where he obtained his offset printer degree.
Larry honorably served in the United States Army and then worked at the Watonga Republic Paper for two years. After the paper he worked in the oilfield for five years. He then worked at US Gypsum for 25 years until he retired. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed watching westerns and food shows on the television.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Leona Bennett.
He is survived by his cousins Calvin Bennett and wife Cindy of Canton, OK, Bill Bennett and wife Susan of Ponca City, OK, Shirley Kelly, and Joel Bennett and wife Susan of Taloga, OK; as well as many extended family and friends.
Memorial Donations may be made in Larry's Honor to Munice Cemetery with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds. P.O. Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663
