Larry "Kim" Kennemer, 70 year old resident of Chester, OK, passed from this life on May 27, 2020 in Weatherford, OK.  Kim was born December 4, 1949 to Raymond and Jewel ( Kimberlin) Kennemer in Garden City, KS.  He was raised in Sublette, KS.  In his youth he enjoyed participating in auto races.  Growing up he attended the Church of Christ in Sublette where his father led the singing.  Kim graduated from Sublette High School with the class of 1968.

On June 20, 1970, Kim married Nancy Jean Wright and to this union two daughters were born Michele and Gina.  Kim and Nancy shared 46 wonderful years before Nancy's passing in 2015.   Kim and Nancy made their home in Sublette until 1975 when they moved to Chester, OK.  Kim worked as a rancher for the Rumsey Ranch from 1975 to 2000.  He attended 1000 Hills Ranch Church of Woodward, OK where he was baptized.  He loved to cook outdoors for family and was an avid sportsman.  Kim had a circle of friends all who enjoyed each other's company whether it was hunting, fishing, or just hanging out.

Kim is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Kennemer, parents Raymond and Jewel Kennemer, along with several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his daughters Michele Self of Shawnee, OK and Gina Kennemer and fiancé Tim Baker of Chester, OK; grandson David Michael Sapp of Frisco, CO; granddaughter Reina Michele Wages of Chester, OK; brother Ray Kennemer and wife Kerry of Dumas, TX; two nieces Carisa Blackwell and husband Casy of Dumas, TX and Julie Elston and husband Mark of Amarillo, TX; many great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
