Leroy Delbert Webster, 94 year-old resident of Chester, OK passed from this life on January 27, 2017. Leroy was born March 2, 1922 in Nardin, OK, the son of Delbert J. Webster and Bertha M. Woicikowsfski. He graduated from Cherokee High School with the class of 1940. In 1941 he volunteered for military service, with four years of service stateside and in the Army Air Force 385th Bomb Group at Great Ashfield, England during World War II.
After returning to the U.S., he met Myrtle (Dody) Perry of Sioux City, Iowa, and they were married December 31, 1945. Leroy and Dody made their home near Chester, OK where they raised their two daughters Cathy Suzanne and Gayla Diane. They were members of the First Christian Church where Leroy was appointed Elder Emeritus. Leroy was also a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a business man, owning Webster Implement Company for 17 years, along with being a farmer/rancher. Leroy and Dody enjoyed many years of traveling. He also enjoyed many hobbies such as woodworking, raising pigeons, and crafting model trains.
He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Conrady and husband Larry of Enid, OK and Gayla Goodman and husband Leroy of Chester, OK; five grandchildren: Douglas Conrady and wife Wendi, Brent Conrady and wife Cheryl, Amberly Durfield and husband Timothy, Allison Goodman, Annie Park and husband Geoff; six great-grandchildren: Thomas Conrady, Kelby, Kinley, Karly Conrady, Bennett and Judah Park; sister Loretta Stauffer, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dody, and his parents.
