Linda Jo Evans passed away from this life on October 8, 2019 at Mooreland Heritage Manor.

She was born on November 29, 1945 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Joseph Neal and Virginia Lee Rinker.  She attended Seiling Elementary and Seiling High School.  Linda graduated with the class of 1964 and attended the Clinton Cosmetology School.  She was married to Lee Duane Evans in 1965, of this union, three children Charles Neal, Jody Duane, and Marsha Lee.  The family resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma later Seiling, Oklahoma before returning to Woodward, Oklahoma.

Linda worked as a Dietary Manager for several years, dancing was something she thoroughly enjoyed.

In 2017 Linda was baptized in the New Horizon Methodist Church.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Lee Duane Evans, father Joseph Neal Rinker, mother Virginia Lee Rinker, son Charles Neal Evans, son Jody Duane Evans, and brother Bobby Neal Rinker.

She is survived by her brother Charles J. Rinker and wife Jeannie of Seiling, OK; daughter Marsha and husband Justin Bowers of Woodward, OK; granddaughter Kayla Godwin and husband Kris of Mooreland, OK; grandson Cody Peters of Sharon, OK; grandson Keeton Bowers of Woodward, OK; grandson Nick Bowers of Woodward, OK; great-granddaughter Kynlee Godwin of Mooreland, OK; grandson Drew Evans; daughter-in-law Angie Evans of Conyers, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and a host of loved ones and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Richmond Country Church (E. County Rd. 57 and S. County Rd 222.5 near Mutual).  Graveside service will follow at Brumfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the New Horizon United Methodist Church of Woodward in care of Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663).
