Linda Sue Pethoud Trammell Hunt, 74 year old from Seiling, OK passed from this life at the Seiling Hospital on February 28, 2017 with family at her side. Linda was born to Duane Ivan and Evelyn Mildred Crites Pethoud on December 16, 1942 in her parent's home southeast of Seiling, OK.
Linda attended Seiling Public School's graduating with the Class of 1960. During Linda's childhood days she began her career in food service at the Apco Service station and continued in food service until her retirement in October of 2016. She worked at several locations including Mug and Jug, Lil' Abners, Willy's and Hills Café. She loved to cook, but most of all she loved her customers.
Linda married on December 10, 1961 to Raymond Lee Trammell at the Baptist Church. In 1962 their first child was born, Sonja and in 1965 their son Ronnie was born. Raymond worked in the oilfield and the family followed work. Not one to be idle, she picked up food service work in Lubbock, NM, Borger, TX, Perryton, TX and Seiling, OK, including running the concession stand for the Seiling Roundup Club at the rodeo. Linda suffered a great loss on November 7, 1999 when Raymond died from cancer. On March 24, 2003 Linda married Walter Hunt at the Richmond Church. The couple made their home in Seiling. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. It was not unusual to see her and Walter riding their motorcycles around town. She loved being with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Linda was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Trammell, parents, Duane and Evelyn Pethoud, brother, Leroy Pethoud, brother-in-law Danny Tucker, father-in-law Clifton Tucker, mother-in-law Jesse, and nephew Clayton King.
She is survived by husband Walter Hunt of the home in Seiling; daughter Sonja Jones and husband Ken of Ft. Supply, OK; son Ronnie Trammell and wife Joy of Chester; brother Johnny Pethoud and wife Pam of Seiling; sister Debbie Hills and husband Phil of Seiling; sister-in-law Linda Garton and husband Bob of Jennings, OK; brother-in-law Melvin Tucker and wife Debbie of Jennings, OK; sister-in-law Bobbie Tucker of Oilton, OK; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Rocha and husband Mateo, Allen Jones, Rusty Trammell and wife Kasey, and Kari Weiand and husband Cutter, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family and host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Elm Grove Church in Chester, OK with Pastor Orville White presiding. Burial will follow in the Huckmac (Munice) Cemetery under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home.
