Lionel LeClair Simpson was born on October 15, 1988, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Donna Underwood and Stephen Simpson.  He departed this life on January 2, 2022 , at the age of 33 years, 2 months, and 18 days.

Lionel grew up in the Shawnee area attending elementary school at Hoarce Mann Grade School and Shawnee High graduating with the Class of 2006.  He then continued his education at Seminole Community College and then Cawley County Community College in Ark City, Kansas.

Lionel worked as a farm hand.  He enjoyed working with cattle.  He also enjoyed fixing computers, playing video games, and especially spending time with Creed, Axel, and Jauger.

Lionel was preceded in death by his grandparents William Simpson and Ruth Warrior Simpson, and grandparents Tecumseh Underwood and Nagie Underwood.  Also preceding him is death are two sisters; Toni Underwood and Casey Jo Pipestem, and one brother; Christopher J. Pipestem.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Donna White Buffalo of Seiling, OK, brother Chachio Pipestem of Sapulpa, OK, and two sisters: Ruth Young of Ark City, KS and Taffney Harjo of Seminole, OK.

There are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will miss his presence in their lives.
