Louise Ruth Jones, of Seiling, passed from this life on September 15, 2018 at the age of 83 years. She was born on December 16, 1934 in Junction City, OR to William Henry and Myrtle Louise Simpson. She grew up in Coalinga, CA where she graduated high school with the Class of 1952. On August 3, 1956 she was married to Walter J. Jones in Fresno, CA and to this union three children, Jerry, Gary, and Albert were born. The couple first made their home in Elverta, CA and later moved to Seiling, OK in 1967. Louise was a homemaker and a CMA with the Seiling Nursing Center, and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church, and enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School each year.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lawrence; two brothers, Bobby Simpson and Earl Jeffries; two grandsons, Trenton R. Jones, and Kenneth Hausinger; and a great granddaughter Chloe May Sides.

Left to carry her legacy are Louise's three sons, Jerry Jones and wife Janet of Taloga, OK, Gary Jones and wife Lisa of Mustang, OK, and Albert Jones and wife Penny of Woodward, OK; two brothers Bill Simpson of Aloha, OR, and Cedric Simpson of Astoria, OR; as well as 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with one more on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Seiling (202 E. 6th St.).

Memorial Donations in Louise's honor may be made to the First Baptist Church with Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663) serving as custodian for the funds.
