Lyle Wayne Bensch was born On August 15, 1947 in Chester, Oklahoma to Raymond Oliver Bensch and Mildred Minnie (Swann) Bensch.  He passed from this life on December 26, 2020 at the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 11 days.

Lyle attended school in Seiling, Ok and graduated with the class of 1965.  He then completed an associate's degree from the Lewis School of Electronics in 1967.   He worked as an aircraft instrument technician in Wichita from 1968 till 1977.  He then returned home and worked in the Seiling Auto Supply from 1978 to 1997.  He was then employed by the Seiling Public School from 1998 till 2004. After that Lyle worked at the Seiling Foods Grocery Store. Lyle enjoyed woodworking and coached soccer in Seiling for many years.

In March of 2001, Lyle Bench and Robie J. Vaughan were united in marriage in Seiling, OK.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mildred Bensch; wife, Robie Bensch; brother Duane Bensch, grandson Jesse Rogers, and brother-in-law Renzie Wyckoff.

He is survived by his children Brian Bensch and wife Kelli of Seiling, OK,  Jeffery Bensch and wife Greta of Mustang, OK, and Rachelle Rogers and husband Jeramy of Seiling, OK; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Wyckoff of Chester, and Ruth Ann Evans and husband Kenneth of Houston, TX, and sister-in-law Yvonne Bensch as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church of Seiling.  Burial will follow at Brumfield Cemetery.
