Marilyn Kay (Link) Lynes was born on September 13, 1946 in Enid, Ok to Orville and Charlotte Link. The daughter of share croppers, she moved from state to state as a young girl, eventually growing up and going to school in Amarillo,  TX.

While married to her first husband, Marilyn lived in France where she gave birth to her daughter.  After returning to the US, she gave birth to her son while again living in Amarillo.  Over the years, Marilyn lived in several places across Oklahoma before finally settling in Seiling to be near her parents.

A small business owner, an EMT, and then an RN, Marilyn always stayed busy.  In her free time, she greatly enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family.

On January 12, 2022, Marilyn moved on from this world. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one granddaughter. She is survived by her brother Lyle Link of Amarillo, her daughter Kristina Marsey and her family of Allen, TX, and her son Gary Brockman and his wife of Little Elm, TX. This includes, 7 grandchildren,  14 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
