Mary Coleen Ashby, 78-year-old resident of Longdale, OK, entered into the Lord's arms October 4, 2018.  Mary was born April 19, 1940 to Harold H. and Mabel (Stoll) Davis in Oakwood, OK.  She grew up in Oakwood and attended Oakwood schools graduating with the class of 1958.

On July 6, 1957, Mary married Percy Ashby and to this union two children were born, Kathleen René and Kenneth Eldon.  They lived in several locations before making their home in Longdale.

Mary was a Christian and a member of the Canton Christian Church.  She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Percy Ashby, parents Harold and Mabel Davis, three brothers Adrian, Lemuel, and Omer Davis, one sister Della Keck and one grandson Jace Ashby Keeton.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen McClure and husband Larry of Fairview, OK; son Kenneth Ashby of Canton, OK;  five grandchildren Rikki Lea Ashby, Angela Jones and husband Steven, Karri Ashby, Kourtney Keeton and husband Nathan, and Ryan McClure and wife Caitlin; eleven great-grandchildren Jada, Imiyah, Lilly, Jazlyn, Imileigh, Irilynn, Adley, Indy, Hartleigh, Emmry, Cooper, and one on the way Ivvey Coleen; one brother Rodney Davis; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at the Canton Christian Church on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Longdale Cemetery.

Memorial Donations in Mary's honor may be made to the V.F.W. with Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663) serving as custodian of the funds.
