Rana Ann Selby, of Edmond, passed from this life suddenly on March 23, 2017 at the age of 48 years, 2 months and 3 days. Rana was born on January 20, 1969 to Ronald "Ron" and Carolyn (McDaniel) Rackley in Weatherford, OK. She attended the Mutual and Seiling schools, graduating from Seiling High with the Class of 1987. She was married to Mike Johnson, with whom she had two sons, William and Jacob Johnson. On March 4, 1997, she married Dustin Selby in Lipscomb, TX, and to this union two more boys, Brady and Austin Selby were born. The couple made their home in Seiling, OK until 2005. They later moved to Fargo, OK from 2005-2013, Gage, OK from 2013-2017, and Edmond Earlier this year. Rana worked as an LPN for many years before transitioning into being a homemaker. She loved her children more than anything and really enjoyed going to all of the sports events they were involved in. She also enjoyed fishing and cooking.
Rana was preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Eloise McDaniel, and Cyril and Margie Rackley, her mother Carolyn Rackley, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Rana is survived by her husband Dustin Selby and son Austin Selby of the home; son William and wife Melissa, and grandson Corbin Johnson of Enid, OK; son Jacob Johnson of El Reno, OK; son Brady and wife Elizabeth Selby of Woodward, OK; father Ron Rackley of Seiling; brother Perry and wife Katrina, and nieces and nephews Nathan, Danyon, Nolan, Keaton, Samantha and Savannah Rackley, all of Okeene, OK; as well as numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
