Randy Joe Tomberlin, 81 of Cedardale, OK went to his final rest on April 5th, 2024 at Integris Health in Woodward, OK.

Randy was born on December 17th, 1942 to Calvin Clyde Tomberlin and Ruby Alice Lee (Wiggins) Tomberlin at his grandparents house in Crescent, OK.

He started School at Joy, OK Country School when he was 5 years old, and he spent his formative years in Wynnewood, OK.

Randy was united in marriage to the love of his life Cindy Watkins on January 22nd, 1974 in Vici, OK.  They have two daughters, Chandra and Katy.  From previous unions was born Darla, Joey, and Randall.

Randy began working in the oilfield in 1957 at the age of 15.  He retired from Linn Energy in 2013 as a consultant.  While working for OneOK Drilling, he was awarded the Grady County, OK run  for drilling the deepest well with one bit. He drilled 4,388 ft. in 49 ¾ hours, making 88.2 feet per hour, with a total depth of 5,278 ft.

Randy loved hot rods, Harley Davidsons, and his family.  He loved telling stories, spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ruby Tomberlin; a son, Joey; two grandchildren, Raquel and Luke, and a nephew Michael.

Randy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cindy of the home; daughter Chandra and Clint of Chester, OK, daughter Katy and Eric of Cedardale, OK; daughter Darla of Palmer, Alaska; and son Randall of Lawton, OK; Grandchildren Bronsen and Kloe, Tyten and Braillin, Zoey and Nikko, Gracie and Hunter, Ryder and Hope, Kathleen, Zain and Dom, Harley, Raven, Randy, Amber, Tracey, and Mark; one brother, Mike and Charlotte of Moore, OK; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, oilfield family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
