Richard Thomas Wilson, 66, passed away on February 17, 2024, in Seiling, Oklahoma.

Richard was born on October 30, 1957, in Marshall, Missouri, to James and Shirley Wilson. He grew up and graduated in the Chillicothe and Triplett area of Missouri.

He dedicated his career to working as a heavy equipment operator for Haygood. In 2011, he married Vicki Hale in Carthage, Missouri, and the couple relocated to Seiling in 2016, establishing their home there. Richard, a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan, found immense joy in every moment spent fishing. He was also a connoisseur of beers, from seasonal craft brews to store-bought varieties.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Hale of the home, and is fondly remembered by his sisters Brenda of Arizona and Candice of Texas, and brothers Bill Marple of Massachusetts and Randy of Carthage, MO. He leaves behind five cherished grandchildren who brought him great delight.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Wilson.

Private Family Services to celebrate Richard's life will be held at a later date.
