Roger Milton Duffy, 73 year old resident of Seiling, OK passed from this life on June 23, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Roger was born March 1, 1943 to John and Ruby (Barnard) Duffy in Enid, OK. Roger grew up in Loyal, OK and attended Loyal schools graduating with the class of 62. After high school he attended Oklahoma State University.
On May 29, 1963 he married Wanda Lou McAllister. Roger started working for Pioneer in September of 1962. He had his first manager's job in Fargo. In 1965 he became manager of the Seiling office where he worked for forty eight years before retiring.
Roger served on the Seiling Fire Department for twenty years and he was a member of the Seiling Lions Club for fifty years. Roger served ten years on the Town Board and served on the Seiling Hospital Board for several years.
Roger is survived by his wife Wanda of the home; two daughters Sharla Seal and husband Lanny of Seiling, OK and Cindy Steuart and husband Bryant of Seiling, OK; one son Johnny Duffy and wife Kasse of Seiling, OK; brothers Dr. Kenneth Duffy and wife Lacey of Seiling, OK and Richard Duffy and wife Kathy of Guymon, OK; 16 grandkids, 9 great-grandkids, and many many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Sheila and one brother Steve.
