Ronald William Rackley passed from this life on June 23, 2024, in Okeene, OK, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 10 days.  His life began on April 13, 1945, in Keyes, Oklahoma when his parents, Cyril and Marjorie (Patton) Rackley welcomed him to their family.

Ron, as he was known, spent his early life in the Keyes area, he attended grade school through high school, and was a proud graduate of Keyes High School.  He furthered his education at Northwestern State University where he received his Bachelor of Education degree.

Ron enjoyed his time as a teacher, but then changed professions and became the owner of the Seiling Meat Locker in Seiling, Oklahoma. He was a golf enthusiast and dearly loved high school football.  He also enjoyed watching western movies, but most of all he loved the time he spent with family and friends.

Ron's greatest joy was his children, Perry and Rana, and his grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Margie, wife Carolyn, daughter Rana Rackley, grandson Keaton Rackley, and his sister Donna Jacks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Perry Rackley and wife Kara of Okeene, OK, brother Skip Rackley and wife Rita of Oklahoma City, Ok, and sisters Joy Hines of New Castle, OK, and Deanna Williams of Derby, KS.  There are a host of loving grandkids and numerous other relatives and friends who will hold the memories of Ron forever in their hearts.  May his soul rest in peace.
