Obituary

On May 28, 2023, Tara Ann Hulett, beloved mother, daughter, and sister passed away at her family home in Seiling, Oklahoma.  Tara was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma on December 12, 1975.  Tara attended Taloga Public Schools from Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  She then moved to Seiling where she graduated with the Class of 1994.  Tara went on to study Business and Management at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She then moved to Dallas, Texas where she attended Grapevine Baptist University in Grapevine, Texas.

Tara worked for Benny Hinn Ministries as an event coordinator and secretary.  In 2007, Tara then moved back to Seiling to be with family where she remained until the time of her death. Tara had the opportunity to work for her brother, Troy Hulett, with T & G Backhoe Service for 10 years, she then was employed by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in Taloga as a secretary until the time of her passing.

Tara's greatest joy in life was becoming a mother when she welcomed Ella into her life.

Tara loved to travel, experience new places, different foods, and explore the world.  She had big dreams of buying a van and traveling the world with Ella and spreading the gospel of God's love.

She was always going and doing something, like going to the movies, the lake, the State Fair, and the State Highschool Ballgames.  She had several trips planned for Ella and herself to share new experiences.

Tara will be remembered for her love of Ella, she was focused on Ella and helping her develop into a courageous young lady by encouraging her to live life to the fullest no matter what the event.

Tara was always looking to help others in any way that she could.  She loved to glorify God through her singing and praise and worship.  Her faith was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life.

Tara is preceded in death by her Grandmother Jerry Bratten, Grandparents Charles and Peggy Hulett, and Uncle Kevin Bratten.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Ella Hulett of Seiling, OK, Mother Lenora Hulett of Seiling, OK, Father Jerry Hulett of Canton, OK, Sister Misty Petty of Seiling, OK, and Brother Troy Hulett of Seiling, OK.  Others that will miss her presence are nieces Shaylin Petty of Seiling, OK and Reese Hulett of Ringwood, OK; nephews Zade Hulett of Ringwood, OK and Trinity Petty of Woodward, OK; great nephews Jayton Petty and Augustus "Gus" Petty of Woodward, OK; Grandfather Darrell Bratten and wife Karen of Seiling, OK, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and many, many friends.
